Process Overview

Our streamlined process gives you peace of mind throughout the construction experience.

We understand there are several choices when it comes to selecting a building professional and we would love the opportunity to learn more about your project. Please fill out our contact form on our website or call our office. Our co-owner, Mike, will personally speak with you to understand your vision and identify your project goals. Our goal in this discussion is to answer any questions and establish if we are a good fit to help you reach your vision. If we can help you reach your goals we will schedule a first in-person meeting at your home.

The information collected at our first meeting will help us develop your Project Development Services Agreement (PDSA) that will include a target investment range or value. This agreement allows us to enter into the Design Phase of the project and by signing you are ready to invest in your home. We will align our team and provide access to your own client portal, which will be the central hub for your project. Communication and Collaboration are key during the development of your project and we will guide you through with our cohesive approach.

Aligning you with the designer that is the best fit for your unique style, we will work cohesively to develop the aesthetics and functionality your space deserves. Layouts will be presented and refined, along with fixtures and materials, providing you with cost updates along the way. This level of attention and detail is critical to defining the final scope of work and investment. During this highly collaborative process, our role is to align team members and ensure everyone is working towards a common goal.

Once we receive the final design packet, we collaborate with our trusted trade partners to conduct thorough evaluations, quantify material takeoffs, and finalize the project’s scope of work. This enables us to prepare a fixed-price construction agreement, providing you with a sense of security by knowing the exact cost of the project before construction begins.

During the pre-construction phase, we will take care of obtaining the necessary permits (if required), coordinate the procurement of materials that have longer lead times, and develop a construction schedule. Your appointed project manager will thoroughly review the plans, take note of any specific requests you may have, and arrange for any temporary facilities that may be needed. Additionally, we will conduct a comprehensive site walk with you to ensure your comfort and familiarity when construction commences.
